Drive UP: Together Achievements & Leaderboards
Steam achievements list for Drive UP: Together, v0.1.2 leaderboard rules (altitude, time, attempts), and per-map normal vs checkpoint tables—unofficial fan wiki.
How do Steam leaderboards rank climbs?
According to the official v0.1.2 patch notes, the new leaderboard works like this:
- Altitude you reach comes first.
- Finish time breaks the next tie.
- If still tied, whoever finished in fewer attempts goes ahead.
The same post adds structure beyond one global list:
- An overall ranking still exists.
- Every map has separate tables for its normal and checkpoint modes.
That pairs with other v0.1.2 features: spawn protection (ghost mode) when you first spawn, return to start, or go back to a checkpoint—your car can pass through others briefly and blinks until protection ends when you leave another car’s space. Exact checkpoint placement per route is not published yet in official route docs; marketing still described no checkpoints on the main climb at launch while checkpoint modes now have their own boards.
For map context, see Mountain, Port Babel (v0.1.1), and Neon Junction (v0.1.2, 1000 m finish in official copy). Full patch wording lives in our v0.1.2 update page.
What do leaderboards look like in-game?
Altitude shows on the HUD in official screenshots—often on player tags in meters (for example 890m on a climb toward a large red wheel obstacle):

v0.1.2 also notes that other players on the altitude bar appear with car colors and Steam profile pictures—useful when you are comparing live height in a lobby.
Tight neon-style corridors show multiplayer tags in the 600m range in another press shot:

We do not tie either screenshot to a named map—the press kit marks most gameplay shots as unclear map attribution.
Which Steam achievements exist?
Steam’s API for App ID 4058120 returned seven achievement names and empty descriptions when we verified on November 4, 2026. Treat unlock conditions as not verified until Gamevato or Steam shows text.
| Achievement name (Steam API) | Unlock condition (this wiki) |
|---|---|
| FINISH FIRST RACE | Not published — record when you earn it |
| WIN FIRST RACE | Not published |
| FINISH ON THE PODIUM | Not published |
| JOIN OR CREATE FULL LOBBY | Not published (name suggests an 8-player lobby) |
| WIN 10 RACES | Not published |
| HIGH CLIMBER | Not published (the name suggests a height goal, but there is no official threshold) |
| FIRST CHAT | Not published |
The full list also appears on the Steam store achievements tab—open it in the client for icons and your personal progress.
How can I track unlocks myself?
Until descriptions ship:
- Open Steam → Drive UP: Together → Achievements and screenshot each unlock with the date.
- Note lobby size, map, and mode (normal vs checkpoint if you used checkpoints).
- Post edge cases in the official Discord or Steam bug/FAQ threads—Early Access FAQ says the team gathers feedback there.
Do achievements and ranks need co-op?
Verified facts:
- 1–8 players in online co-op; solo is supported (developer FAQ pin).
- Everyone needs their own Steam copy; gifting is mentioned in official launch-week news.
- In-game invites (v0.1.1+) reduce alt-tab friction—see beginner guide for lobby flow.
Our read: Leaderboards care about your altitude, time, and attempts on a run, but co-op physics still matters—pushing, blocking, and collisions change who reaches height safely. Read co-op strategies for crew tactics that help height without throwing runs away.
Minigames on Neon Junction (Bomb Tag, Sky Sumo) are separate side activities on that map—see minigames guide if you are hunting variety between ranked climbs.
